At this point it is worth mentioning that we have also designed and manufactured this camper in a way that if you wish you can remove the tent and bed frame, the rear tail gate bed frame support, the gas struts, and the rear kitchen shelf, so you can now then use as just a trailer outside the holiday season if you wish.

 They are built tough and built  to last. They have to be. When buying a Camper Trailer one of the most overlooked criteria is the dust and the water factor, especially if you want your Camper to last for many years. To overcome these elements our trailers are built with a fully welded and sealed box ,we then remove the standard steel bed frame, manufacture a custom (off road type) 50mm/25mm x 2.5mm solid steel frame which fits perfectly along the top edge of the trailer. Next we add neoprene/rubber seals to the bed frame and rear door, and attach the bed board and tent to the steel frame. This is attached with over 60 wing tipped galvanised screws, this type of screw is very difficult to remove and therefore ensures that the board and frame do not detach from each other particularly when driving off road .The trailer is now completely sealed off from the elements. You can be assured that the contents of your trailer stay clean and not wet, or covered in dust.

Next we add an aluminum track, (sail track), to the base of the bed board. The bottom of the external tent cover slides through the track. Now the tent is also totally sealed from dust, water and even little nibbly insects.

For many years now, through our own camping experiences, and feedback from our customers, we have made various changes to our Camper Trailers. Even small changes like adding a spirit level to the drawbar, hidden wiring, fire extinguisher to the rear door, all of which  contribute to a safer, more enjoyable camping experience. Our latest addition is a double water container holder to the right hand side of the trailer, here you can carry up to 50litres of water there’s no need for an under body tank which often get damaged by branches, rocks or through bottoming out in sand or mud. This type of water carrier can also be replicated on the left hand side of the trailer instead of jerry can holders at no additional cost, and therefor giving you 100 litres of water on board. TRAILER SPECIFICATIONS

• 7' x 4' (2100mm x 1200mm)
• 500mm high sides with 2.00mm pressed steel for added strength.
• Full RHS box chassis 3.0mm steel.
• Checker plate 2.1mm fully welded floor.
• Full side steps and gusset 2.1mm checker plate.
• RHS (box steel) along outer edge of side steps for full support and strengthening. This also protects jerry cans, gas cylinders etc.
• 6 leaf, 65mm springs 1200Kg rated.
• 45mm axle rated to 1500kg with 6 stud hubs and heavy duty bearings.
• 3 x brand new 15"Sunraysia wheels and 3 x  brand new GOODYEAR WRANGLER “Silent Armor” tyres (www.goodyear.com.au). These tyres have Kevlar in the side walls making them very difficult to puncture

The Little Extras

• All wiring is hidden inside the RHS to avoid damage by branches etc.
• All Jerry cans/gas cylinders have Neoprene seals around the inside and base to stop rattling around, and scratching the paint work.
• Jerry cans are lockable with chains welded to the rear of holders.
• Hook welded to draw bar to keep safety chain off the ground when not in use.
• Electrical plug holder welded to the drawbar.
• Shackle welded to the drawbar to hold still the jockey wheel handle when travelling.
• 4 additional tie down hooks welded to the trailer sides to attach the travel cover straps in addition to tiedown rails.
• Spirit Level attached to the drawbar.
• Hinged swinging number plate frame with number plate light (protects number plate from branches or objects.)
• Fire extinguisher mounted on rear door below shelf.

The Off Road Bed Frame

Due to the weight of the tent 192Kg, it is vital that the bed frame be strong enough to withstand the forces if the trailer is driven off the bitumen, especially in serious off road conditions where the tent is being thrown from side to side. All too often in this situation the frame and bed board can be dislodged from the trailer when using standard bed frames. To remedy this situation we manufacture a custom designed 25mm x 50mm @ 3.00mm steel bed frame designed to fit exactly the top lip of the trailer. This is hinged (welded)  and locked down with two centre latches welded onto RHS to the exterior of the sides. Two heavy duty gas struts installed. The two Inspection Hatches for accessing goods in trailer are also strengthened.
